Parent Grief Support Group
- Meets bi-weekly
- Tuesday evenings 6:30 – 8 PM
- For parents who have experienced the profound loss of the death of a child
Many Canuck Place parents have said that participating in this support group has helped to decrease their isolation and provide understanding and comfort.
Sibling Grief Support Group
- Meets bi-weekly, concurrent with the Parent Grief Support Group Tuesday evenings, 6:30 - 8 PM
- For school-aged children and teens (4 yrs – 16 yrs) who have experienced the death of a sibling
This group offers an opportunity for peer support and for the exploration and expression of feelings through art, music, play etc
Families may refer themselves or be referred by friends, health care professionals, teachers, etc.
Support Groups require pre-registration and an initial family assessment.
